RTX 5080 prices rise by up to €280 in China as GDDR7 supply tightens
Chinese spot prices for Nvidia’s RTX 5080 16 GB have risen to 14,500–15,000 yuan (€1,730–€1,790), from 12,700–13,500 yuan (€1,520–€1,610), according to Wccftech. The RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB has also climbed, while Wccftech attributes the increases to tighter GDDR7 supply as memory makers prioritise HBM for AI products.
Bottom line — The RTX 5080 24 GB replacement is reportedly expected to cost around 19,999 yuan (€2,390).
