Metro Redux gets free 4K update, uncapped frame rates and DLSS
4A Games and publisher Deep Silver have released a free Next-Gen Update for Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux, adding 4K support, uncapped frame rates and visual, audio and stability improvements. Deep Silver says this is a quality-of-life upgrade, not a remaster or remake; PC players also get support for 4A TSR, NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR.
Bottom line — The free update modernises both Redux games, while Deep Silver says owners of compatible versions are entitled to it automatically.
