Pitchwise takes 42% of Valencia CF as Meriton retains majority control
Valencia CF says Pitchwise Holdings has agreed to buy 42% of the club from Meriton Holdings and inject €100 million in new capital. Meriton will remain the majority shareholder, with Kiat Lim continuing as president; the deal values the club at €1.25 billion and remains subject to regulatory approvals.
Bottom line — The €100 million is new club capital, but Valencia has not said how it will be spent.
