BioWare’s cancelled Mass Effect game surfaces in an apparently authentic trailer
A trailer for BioWare’s cancelled Mass Effect game, titled Mass Effect: Universe, appeared on Reddit after EA shut down the studio. The Verge reports that Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier called it a real trailer and IGN verified its legitimacy; the footage includes pre-production assets and in-engine scenes, according to a message in the video.
Bottom line — EA has cancelled the game, but Amazon’s Mass Effect series for Prime Video is still in development.
