Aaron Guzikowski will write a new Alien film for 20th Century Studios, with Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss producing through Scott Free. The project is in early development, has no director attached and is not a sequel to Alien: Romulus; sources cited by The Hollywood Reporter link it to Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, with android David as a possible connection.

Bottom line — Michael Fassbender is not attached, leaving David’s return unconfirmed.

Guzikowski and Scott previously worked together on Raised by Wolves, which Guzikowski created and Scott executive produced.
The Hollywood Reporter says the project is separate from the Romulus sequel, which remains in limbo.
Scott has said he wants to continue the story of David, played by Michael Fassbender, but the new film’s plot has not been disclosed.
No director has been announced; Scott is producing rather than directing for now.

Monster Hunter Wilds Switch 2 demo holds a near-locked 30fps in quality mode

Digital Foundry’s analysis of Capcom’s Switch 2 demo found that docked quality mode delivers a virtually locked 30fps with the cap enabled. DLSS helps produce a cleaner image than the Xbox Series S version in some comparisons, despite a lower internal resolution and cutbacks to shadows, foliage and distant character animation.

Bottom line — The demo’s capped 30fps is the most consistent option, but Digital Foundry says performance in larger, busier hunts remains untested.
