Apple commits up to €86 million ($100 million) to US iPhone titanium supplier
Apple will commit up to €86 million ($100 million) over three years to Pennsylvania-based Perryman Company, which will supply recycled-content titanium for iPhone Duo. Apple is also expanding work with Delaware’s Qnity Electronics, which will make films for the variable-aperture camera in iPhone 18 Pro. Apple says nearly 100 components in the two phones are made by US companies across more than a dozen states.
Bottom line — Perryman’s three-year deal adds a named US supplier to Apple’s iPhone Duo supply chain.
