Tencent cancelled Assassin’s Creed Destiny, a Qin-era game set in 206 BCE
MP1st reports that Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group was developing Assassin’s Creed Destiny, a PC and console project set in China’s Qin Dynasty, before it was cancelled shortly after a February 2025 prototype. Leaked footage from developer portfolios shows a female assassin pursuing an artefact in a palace besieged by Xiang Yu; Ubisoft has not announced the project. The separate mobile game Assassin’s Creed Jade remains in development, with no release date announced.
Bottom line — Destiny’s cancellation leaves Jade as the only announced Qin Dynasty Assassin’s Creed project still in development.
