Meta says it fixed Ray-Ban glasses recording conversations without a wake word
Ray-Ban Meta owners reported that their glasses recorded conversations and created transcripts without the “Hey Meta” prompt, including when the setting to respond without it was disabled. One owner said the behaviour occurred on three pairs; other users also described similar experiences, though Yahoo Tech noted the reports were not independently reproduced and do not establish how widespread the issue is. Meta told Android Authority the issue had been resolved, but did not explain its cause.
Bottom line — Meta says the bug is fixed; users can review and delete voice logs in the Meta AI app.
