Remedy’s Control Resonant sells 1 million copies in under three weeks
Remedy Entertainment says Control Resonant has sold 1 million copies in less than three weeks, making it the studio’s fastest-selling game. That beats Alan Wake 2, which took about two months to reach the same mark, according to IGN and Polygon. Remedy chief executive Jean-Charles Gaudechon called the launch “a very strong start” for the studio’s first self-published release of this scale, PC Gamer reports.
Bottom line — Remedy’s Q3 business review on 3 November will offer a closer look at whether the launch is translating into profit.
