Asus’s €1,200 Xbox Ally X20 adds OLED, but keeps the same processor
Asus’s 20th-anniversary ROG Xbox Ally X20 pairs a 7.4-inch OLED display with updated controls and the same AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor as its predecessor. Reviews from Gizmodo, CNET and games.gg put its performance broadly in line with the older model, while CNET and games.gg say MSI’s Intel-powered Claw 8 EX AI Plus is faster in demanding games. The X20 costs about €1,200 (US$1,300) on its own.
Bottom line — The €1,200 X20’s clearest upgrade is its OLED screen, not its gaming performance.
