Xpeng begins mass production of humanoid robot IRON, claims higher margins than EVs

Chinese EV maker Xpeng has commissioned an automated production line for its humanoid robot IRON, which autonomously walked off the line. The company plans mass production by end of 2026 and deliveries in 2027, targeting commercial and eventually home use.
