IAEA confirms North Korea built new uranium enrichment facility at Yongbyon

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said North Korea has completed a new two-storey uranium enrichment facility at its Yongbyon nuclear complex, capable of housing up to 28 centrifuge cascades. The agency also reported an expanded annex at the Kangson site began operations in January. The developments violate UN Security Council resolutions, per IAEA director Rafael Grossi.
