Jagex cancels RuneScape Reignited after player criticism
Jagex has cancelled RuneScape Reignited, a planned fresh-start version of the online game, after player feedback, saying it missed the mark. The studio will instead offer eligible players 10 days of free access to members’ worlds from 2 to 12 December 2026; Old School RuneScape is excluded.
Bottom line — Jagex says its 2027 roadmap remains in place, including three named content updates.
