Apple adds vertical tabs and adaptive dark mode to Safari in 27.3 beta
Apple’s developer betas for iOS 27.3, iPadOS 27.3 and macOS 27.3 add vertical tabs and Adaptive Dark Mode to Safari. The tabs sit in a left-hand sidebar, while the dark-mode feature can adjust bright websites that lack their own dark appearance; Apple has not announced a final release date.
Bottom line — Apple’s 27.3 beta also adds Siri controls for organising tabs and clearing browsing history.
