Apple TV acquires Anna Torv crime drama Dustfall for 2027
Apple TV has acquired streaming rights to Dustfall, a six-episode Australian crime drama starring Anna Torv, with a global premiere planned for 2027. Torv plays detective Antigone “Tig” Pollard, whose sexual assault investigation takes a darker turn when a key suspect is found dead; the BBC and ZDF hold premiere rights in the UK and Germany, while Australia is excluded from Apple’s deal.
Bottom line — Apple’s 2027 release will follow Dustfall’s Australian premiere on ABC and ABC iview on 11 October.
