Google’s October Pixel update fixes three bugs and patches 28 security issues
Google is rolling out its October Android 17 update to Pixel 6 and newer devices, including three bug fixes and security patches for 28 vulnerabilities. The update fixes a keyboard issue, ringtone distortion during some VoIP calls and, on Pixel 11 models, incorrectly oriented photos and videos; Google says the rollout is staged.
Bottom line — The October update is expected to be the final regular software update for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
